Governor Abubakar Sani Bello visited the affected communities ravaged by flood in Mokwa, Lavun, Katcha, Agaie and Lapai Local Government areas of the state.
The governor flew in a Police Helicopter in order to have the aerial view of the affected communities and also access the impact of the flood, We are calling on the Federal Government and counting on its intervention. Over 50 communities were affected.
Gov. Bello had earlier directed the immediate distribution of relief items worth over N60 Million to the affected communities in Kede, Mokwa Local Government Area of our dear state.
The governor was joined on the inspection of the communities by My Deputy, Alhaji Mohammed Ahmed Ketso, My Chief of Staff, Honourable Mikhail Al-Amin Bmitosahi, My Commissioner for Works and Infrastructural Development, Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe, My Commissioner for Environment, Honourable Idris Jibrin Amin, My Special Adviser On Special Duties, Alhaji Umar Alkali (Sardauna) and Director General, Niger State Emergency Management Agency, (NSEMA).
